How it started?
As we passed a garbage truck one day, my brother and I noticed wearable clothes sticking out of it. In a country where so many still don’t have enough to wear, why were clothes being thrown away? Why couldn’t we do something about it?
Coincidentally, Diwali was around the corner — a time when homes are cleaned and old belongings cleared out. While helping our mom, we realized she was setting aside over 150 clothes she no longer wore. We added ours too — and the count kept growing.
Every single piece was perfectly usable. With our mom’s help, we cleaned and packed the clothes neatly in newspapers, then gave them to underprivileged families nearby.
The twinkling eyes and wide smiles we saw that day stayed with us.
That’s how Share The Care began — as a simple idea shared by two siblings. Friends and families started contributing, and soon we were distributing clothes across villages around Raipur. We added little Share The Care stickers to make each bundle feel like a gift.
Because sometimes, all it takes to create change is noticing what others overlook — and choosing to care.
